Contact email addresses updated from obfuscated to plain text; no substantive policy changes
The only change between the two versions of this policy is a formatting/rendering difference: email addresses that appeared as [email protected] (an HTML obfuscation artifact) in the old version now display as privacy@wyze.com in the new version. Every instance of the contact email throughout the document was affected. No policy language, data practices, rights, or terms were changed.
This change has no impact on your data, privacy rights, or how Wyze handles your information. The email address for contacting Wyze about privacy matters was always privacy@wyze.com — it was just obscured in the previous version due to an HTML rendering artifact. You can now clearly see the correct address to use for account deactivation, rights requests, opt-outs, and other privacy inquiries.
