The only substantive textual difference between the two versions is a small grammatical edit in Section 3.3: the phrase "to provide our services we need you to give us some legal permissions (known as a 'license') to use this content" was changed to "to provide our services**,** we need you to give us some legal permissions (known as a 'license') to use that content." A comma was added and the word "this" was replaced with "that." No other substantive provisions were added, removed, or changed.

This update has no practical effect on consumers. The scope of the content license Meta holds over your posts, photos, and videos is unchanged. Your rights, Meta's data practices, account rules, and dispute terms all remain the same as before.
