This page is a short FAQ about interest-based (behavioral) advertising on Twitch. It does not itself explain what data Twitch collects — instead, it points you to Twitch's full Privacy Notice for those details.
Advertising & Amazon
Twitch is owned by Amazon, and Amazon is involved in delivering interest-based ads to you on Twitch. This means your activity on Twitch may feed into the same ad-targeting system Amazon uses across its own properties. You can view and change your Amazon ad preferences at Amazon's Advertising Preferences page.
Your Opt-Out Options
You have a few ways to limit interest-based ads:
- Industry opt-out tools: Visit
aboutads.info(Digital Advertising Alliance) or the Network Advertising Initiative to opt out of behavioral ads from many companies at once. - Amazon directly: Use Amazon's Advertising Preferences page to turn off interest-based ads Amazon serves, including on Twitch.
- EU users: Click the "Ad ⓘ" icon on any Twitch ad, then select "Go to advertisement preferences" to reach Amazon's preference center.
What This Page Doesn't Tell You
This FAQ is silent on what specific data is collected, who else it is shared with, and how long it is kept. For those answers, you would need to read Twitch's full Privacy Notice separately.
