Blink (Immedia Semiconductor) Privacy Policy

What this policy covers: This policy applies to Blink smart home security devices (cameras, etc.), the Blink app, and the company's websites. Blink is an Amazon affiliate, and that relationship matters throughout this policy.

What they collect and why: Blink collects a wide range of data — your name, address, payment info, the video and images you record, your location, device usage metrics, IP address, and browsing behavior on their site. They use this to run the service, fix problems, personalize your experience, and — notably — to show you interest-based (targeted) ads. They also share data with third-party service providers who handle things like payments, analytics, and customer service.

Your controls are limited: You can update your profile, delete video clips, unsubscribe from marketing emails, and withdraw consent for specific processing activities. However, the policy explicitly warns that refusing to provide certain information may prevent you from using Blink Services. When you update your account information, Blink keeps a copy of the previous version "for our records" — with no stated time limit on that.

Policy changes and disputes: Blink can update this policy at any time without notifying you in advance — only the date at the top changes. Disputes are governed by Washington State law. The policy promises not to materially weaken protections for already-collected data without consent, but no independent enforcement mechanism is described.
